My story
Hi, I’m James.
I’ve been teaching English as a foreign language since 2010, to everyone from young children to Master’s and PhD students. This is how I got here.

Born and brought up in England. I trained as a teacher of English as a foreign language and started teaching in 2010.

I kept meeting students who had studied English for years but rarely got to speak it. That’s why my lessons are built around speaking.

Lessons are one-to-one and last an hour, over Zoom. After each class you get a copy of the lesson file, so you can review the vocabulary and corrections whenever you like.
It's a relaxed 15-minute conversation so you can see if my approach suits you. You'll practise speaking, pick up some useful vocabulary and get feedback on your pronunciation. The trial is for people planning to continue with lessons.
